In March 2011 Frederick A. Matsen III, M.D. tenured full professor in the Department of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine and the holder of the Douglas T. Harryman II Endowed Chair in Shoulder and Elbow Research created the "Shoulder Arthritis and Rotator Cuff Tears: causes of shoulder pain" blog. Since creating the blog and writing 712 (and counting) posts the blog has hit a tremendous milestone, 300,000+ views! The  "Shoulder Arthritis and Rotator Cuff Tears" blog has widespread readership around the United Sates but also around the world, places such as Australia, India, Russia, France, Germany, South Korea and Malaysia, just to name a few.
