The Department of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Shoulder and Elbow service held a reunion on July 29th, 2022, for the fellowship alumni. Over 30 of our former shoulder and elbow fellows attended the reunion from all across the United States.
The reunion included case discussions led by several of our former fellows. The reunion also gave alumni a chance to catch up with old friends and colleagues to share stories of life post-fellowship.
The reunion was capped off with a surprise as our department honored Dr. Matsen with a portrait of Dr. Matsen and his wife, Anne. Two of Dr. Matsen's children and one grandchild and of course his wife Anne, were also able to be there for the surprise.
