Born and raised in Houston-by-God-Texas, undergrad at Texas A&M, medical school at the university of Texas Medical Branch -- Galveston
If you had a month off to do whatever you wanted to relax, what would that be?
Kayak to Alaska
What 3 things would you bring with you if you got stranded on a island for 1 month?
Winston churchill's biography "The Last Lion", a guitar, pencil and paper
What is your best excuse for being late to something/ or the best excuse that you have heard?
I know someone who didn't show up and was later found in the HMC ER
What is your favorite meal?
Fried venison steaks and my grandma's gravy
Who is your favorite music artist?
Max Stalling, Jack Ingram- Texas Country guys that don't get much traction in the NW. Oh and the Avett Brothers
Best color scrubs you have ever worn?
Maroon, stolen from clinic in Fairbanks
What is the best advice you have received or could give to medical students pursuing Orthopaedic Surgery/Sports Medicine?
No matter what any one tells you, it's better than general surgery.
