Dr. Mia Hagen has been selected to join UW Medicine's Rising Leaders cohort for the 2021-22 academic year.
Organized by UW Medicine's Faculty Affairs office, Rising Leaders is a community of UW Faculty focused on leadership development. Memebers of the Rising Leaders cohort come from across all of UW Medicine to discuss leadership topics, share their experiences, and learn from established healthcare leaders and each other.
Rising Leaders meet monthly and discuss some the following topics:
- Understanding Yourself as a Leader
- Principles of Adaptive Leadership
- Building Engaged and Collaborative Teams
- Working Towards and Inclusive Culture
- Strategies for Effective Communication
- Coaching/Mentoring/Sponsoring as a Leader
