Congratulations to Dr. Mia Hagen who has been named a 2026 American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM) Traveling Fellow and will be visiting European sports medicine centers from April 29 to May 22.
Dr. Hagen joins three other AOSSM Traveling Fellows from the United States for a three-to-four week tour of European sports medicine centers.
The AOSSM Traveling Fellowship Program offers a rich experience with opportunities to foster an exchange of scientific information, stimulate research, and develop friendships among physicians who practice sports medicine in North America, Asia-Pacific, Europe, and Latin American countries. The fellowship is an immersive experience including time with regional experts, patient encounters, operating room observation, scientific endeavors, sharing cases, and recreation.
