What is the Arthritis Foundation?
The Arthritis Foundation is the national not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for those affected by arthritis. Founded in 1948, the Arthritis Foundation is the only national voluntary health agency seeking the causes, cures, preventions, and treatments for the more than 100 forms of arthritis.
The Arthritis Foundation draws its strength from its members, who through their volunteering and contributions provide powerful resources to bring arthritis under control. You can help by contacting the Foundation at (800) 933-0032.
Joining the Arthritis Foundation
Joining the Arthritis Foundation brings you Arthritis Today, a bimonthly magazine that brings you up-to-date news about arthritis research, the newest treatments, tips on how to cope, and stories of others learning to live with arthritis and Arthritis Northwest, a quarterly newsletter from the Washington/Alaska Chapter that profiles local events and services from around our state. A contribution establishes your membership.
For more information information, contact the Arthritis Foundation. Whether you are touched directly by arthritis or not, you and the Arthritis Foundation can help each other!
