Contemporary Approach to Managing ACL Injuries in the Young Athlete
Pediatric sports injuries are becoming more common with around two million high school sports injuries per year due to increased participation rates, higher levels of competition, an early focus on specific sports, and athletes playing concurrent sports. Females have a 2.5x greater risk of ACL injury.
Presenters at the June 2016 Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Grand Rounds share their considerable experience treating ACL injuries in young athletes.
