John Bartoletta, M.D.

John Bartoletta, M.D.

John, his wife Katherine, and their two-year-old son Benjamin, will be moving to Rochester, Minnesota where John will complete a fellowship in Hip and Knee Arthroplasty at the Mayo Clinic. After fellowship, John intends to pursue an academic career focused on revision arthroplasty.

 

Annelise Chaparro, M.D.

Annelise will be moving to Pittsburgh to complete her Hand and Upper Extremity fellowship at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). She and her partner Nathan hope to settle down in the Pacific Northwest or near family.

 

Kevin Khoo, M.D.

Kevin will be moving to Cleveland, where he will be completing a Shoulder and Elbow Surgery fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. After fellowship, he and his partner Jennifer hope to practice somewhere near family.

 

Sean Pirkle, M.D.

Sean is staying in Seattle for a year to complete a fellowship in Adult Foot and Ankle Surgery at Harborview while his wife, Sarah, finishes residency. The following year, they will move to Boston for fellowships in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery at Boston Children's Hospital and Hand Surgery at Massachusetts General/Harvard, respectively. Together, they hope to settle close to family in the Southeast.

 

Fermin Prieto Jr., M.D.

Fermin will be moving to Miami, Florida to complete a fellowship in Hip and Knee Arthroplasty at Baptist Health South Florida. After completing his fellowship, he plans to return to the Southwest to establish a practice in Adult Reconstructive Surgery.

 

Lara Shefelbine, M.D.

Lara and her husband Spencer will be moving to Sacramento where she will be completing a fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma at the University of California - Davis. After fellowship, Lara and Spencer hope to settle in the west near family and outdoor adventures.

 

Freddy Yang, M.D.

Freddy will be heading to Philadelphia to complete an Adult Reconstruction fellowship at the Rothman Orthopaedic Institute. He is keeping his options open regarding where he would like to practice following fellowship.
