Congratulations to our 2022 Graduating Residents

Sagar Chawla, M.D.

Dr. Chawla will be moving to Charlotte, North Carolina to pursue a fellowship in foot and ankle at OrthoCarolina. After fellowship, he will join his fiance, Shaheen, in Atlanta, Georgia and start his practice at OrthoAtlanta.

 

William Hannay, M.D.

Dr. Hannay and his wife Heather will be moving to Los Angeles where he will complete a fellowship in sports medicine at Kerlan Jobe Orthopedic Clinic. After fellowship, they are keeping their options open for his practice location.

 

Corey Schiffman, M.D.

Dr. Schiffman and his wife, Sarah, will be moving to Philadelphia where he will complete a fellowship in shoulder and elbow surgery at the Rothman Orthopaedic Institute. After fellowship, he hopes to practice in the Seattle area.

 

Sara Shin, M.D.

Dr. Shin and her husband, Spencer, will be moving to Sacramento with their two children, Theo and Stella, to complete a trauma fellowship at UC Davis. After fellowship, she plans to return to Western Washington to begin her practice.

 

Ryan Stancil, M.D.

After residency, Dr. Stancil will be doing a fellowship in adult reconstruction at UCLA with plans to enter practice in either Washington or California.

 

Mario Taylor, M.D.

After residency, Dr. Taylor and his wife, Holly, will be moving to sunny San Diego where he will complete a spine surgery fellowship at the University of California San Diego. They eventually hope to settle somewhere in the Southwest/West.

 

Cathy Vu, M.D.

Dr. Vu will be heading to North Carolina to do her hand and upper extremity fellowship at Duke University. After fellowship, she is looking forward to seeing where her future job will take her!

 

Jacob Wilkerson, M.D.

After residency, Dr. Wilkerson along with his wife Sara and dog Bella, will be traveling to the Fort Lauderdale-Miami area where he will complete a fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Florida in adult hip & knee reconstruction. At the conclusion of fellowship, they will settle in the Mountain West or near family.
