Recently Dr. John O'Kane was interviewed and quoted for a fascinating article in the UW Daily, "New Technology And Ideology Have Led To Changes In Dealing With Concussions". “Being a student-athlete with a concussion that won’t go away is about as bad as it gets,” O’Kane said. “Everything you’re supposed to do here is disrupted. It’s one thing to tear your ACL, and you’re out of sports for nine months, and that’s tough; but at least you can go to school, you can have your social life.
