Dr. Howard Chansky is pleased to announce that Lisa A. Taitsman, MD is now a Director-Elect of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Taitsman was recently elected to the Board of Directors and will begin serving a 10-year term. Nominations are submitted by the American Orthopaedic Association, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the American Medical Association. Being elected is a major career milestone and acknowledgement of Dr. Taitsman’s contributions to our profession. As a member of the Board, Dr. Taitsman joins the ranks of an esteemed group of orthopaedic surgeons and is the first from our Department to serve in this role while a UW faculty member.
