Dr. Albert Gee Discusses What's Next After ACL Injury

Albert O. Gee, M.D.

In the wake an anterior cruciate ligament injury to Seattle Sounders and US men's national team winger Jordan Morris, Dr. Albert Gee sat down to discuss ACL injuries.

Injuries to the ACL are common to competitive and recreational athletes that play sports that require a lot of lateral or side-to-side motion, such as soccer, basketball, and football. The anterior cruciate ligament helps stabilize the lateral motions of the knee. In the video below Dr. Gee discusses the stabilizing role and function of the ACL, surgical repair of the ACL, and recovery after ACL surgery.
