Department Name Change

Dear colleagues and community members,

It has taken several months to wind through the Dean’s office and upper campus, but our requested department name change is now official.

We are now the “Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine.” For all the reasons we have discussed in the past I am enthusiastic about this change.
