Dr. Sean Nork is a graduate of the University of California-San Diego medical school. Following his training in Orthopedic Surgery at UC-San Francisco he a completed a fellowship in traumatology at Harborview Medical Center. He has been an Assistant Professor at the University of Washington since 1998 and was promoted to Associate Professor at the University of Washington in 2004.
Presently he is the Director of Resident Education at Harborview Medical Center. Dr. Nork traveled to Bern Switzerland for two months as an AO Allgöwer Fellow in 2004 and was an AOA Fellow to Japan in 2004 as well. With a predominant interest in periarticular fractures, polytrauma, and nonunions, Dr. Nork has published over twenty peer-reviewed articles and has presented at numerous medical meetings.
Dr. Nork's clinical interests include orthopaedic traumatology, non-union fractures, periarticular fractures and pilon fractures.
